Workplace Violence
Thursday, September 8, 2005
Tecumseh Country Club
7:30
am-10:00 am
Special 2-Hour Event!
Depression has enormous presence and impact in
the workplace. At any given time,
one in 14 employees have diagnosable depression – not simply a case
of the blues, but debilitating clinical depression – and the disease can be
recurrent. The words “depression” and
“suicide” can be hard to hear and even more difficult to discuss. However, turning away from either topic
means missing opportunities to reduce ever-increasing healthcare
costs, decrease absenteeism and presenteeism, and improve productivity.
This session will address a number of questions,
such as:
SPEAKER: Kent
Sharkey is President and CEO of T.E.A.M. Employee
Assistance.
